DESCRIPTION:An Encounter with George Jardine features stranded mermaids and night moths. Enter the world of George Jardine in a new exhibition with paintings and sketches from the Williamson Art Gallery collection. \nGeorge was born in Liverpool and lived in Wallasey in a house that he had personalised through artistic features\, such as a decorated fireplace in the living room. He was educated at the Royal College of Art in London and taught graphics at the Liverpool School of Art for almost forty years.
