DESCRIPTION:Turn the Page Artists Book Fair returns to The Forum in Norwich for 2018. #TTP2018 will feature work by over 60 individual artists\, small & fine presses\, independent publishers and artists groups alongside an exciting program of events that include music\, poetry\, and artists talks. \nEntry to the Fair is free\, two great days of a booky kind of heaven. Take a look below for just some of the exciting events taking place at the fair this year. \nFor full details of exhibitors and our program of events visit www.turnthepage.org.uk or take a look below \nAudrey Niffennegger\nTurn the page is honoured to announce a rare chance to see original artists’ books by award winning artist and novelist Audrey Niffenegger. Audrey’s artists books will be exhibited throughout the two days of the fair. Audrey Niffenegger began making prints in 1978 and trained as a visual artist at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She received her MFA from Northwestern University’s Department of Art Theory and Practice in 1991. Audrey has exhibited her artist’s books\, prints\, paintings\, drawings and comics at Printworks Gallery in Chicago since 1987. The book explores the temporary nature of musicians and the music scenes they create.\nTime: Saturday 26th at 12.30-1.30pm\nLocation: The Stage\, The Atrium \nPoetry Readings\nLyrix Organix\nLyrix Organix are acclaimed and defiantly independent curators of music and poetry. Restlessly experimenting with live performance. Their stages have seen legendary performances by Akala\, Kate Tempest\, Kojey Radical\, Ed Sheeran and the cream of the British spoken word scene. Hosts of a major late night stage at Glastonbury Festival – the infamous ‘Rum Shack’. Specialists in designing and delivering youth education programmes (in events\, poetry\, music and much more) with the likes of Roundhouse\, Cardboard Citizens\, BIMM London and across the world with British Council.\nTime: Friday 25th at 3.30-4.30pm\nLocation: The Stage\, The Atrium \nTOAST\nTOAST is a poetry project dedicated to supporting poets moving beyond the emerging stage. We run workshops\, poetry events and discussion panels to create a space for poets to develop their work and hone their craft.
