I graduated as a graphic designer from GSA in 1993 and after working in the industry for 11 years, started my own design business. However the need to paint became too much and in summer of 2000 I picked up a paintbrush for the first time in almost 20 years and haven’t stopped since!

A self-confessed lover of shoes and all things vintage, I paint what I love and these feature in my work. I was lucky enough to be offered a residency at Dumfries House in May 2014, and now paint mainly expressive, colourful landscapes, influenced by the rich colours and textures around me and on my travels.

In March 2016 I finally became a full-time artist and am now lucky enough to paint in my harbour side Ayrshire studio while teaching art classes & workshops.
